I Didn't Burn Down The House!
We burned firewood in the wood-burning stove last night, and it warmed up the entire house. The kids and I snuggled on the couch and watched the flame through the stove's glass windows. We saw the steam rise from the pot of water simmering on the stove top. With the constant raining today, it will be nice to have an encore of last night's cozy fire.

Surprise for Gram
We traveled to TN to surprise my mom at her job (Bass Pro Shop) on Friday night. It was so nice to have a change of scenery for a few days. It could not have been more perfect weather. On Sat, we went to a nearby little town for a harvest craft and old fashion day. I bought a few crotched items and some candied almonds. Gramps grilled out that night while we soaked in the view from the porch...the sun glistened off the lake and mountain. ¶ Monday, October 09, 2006

Heading to work today, I stopped in to Starbucks. They have a new flavor for Fall - Pumpkin Spice Latte!! It's delicioso! and I really needed that caffiene kick :)

Fall Baseball is in full swing (so to speak).
Cole is now on a kid-pitch team.
He's been positioned as the catcher for the past few games...he loves it!
Cole had to wear a cup for the first time.
He beats on it like tarzan...goofy!
